What does the anime mean?
Anime is the name used in Japan to describe all animation. The word anime is used to describe Japanese-style animations (animes) in countries outside of Japan.

Is just for kids?
No, no, no, definitely not. There are many types of anime, some of which are kid-friendly, but certainly not all. For example, ‘Pokemon’ is suitable for children, but ‘High School DxD’ is not. Warning: Some animes, but not the majority, may contain a lot of blood, sexuality and violence.
Remember: Just because it’s animated doesn’t mean it’s for kids. Besides, there are educational animes for children, you can watch them for children under 13 years old.
